Description
The Center for Research and Innovation in Business Sciences and Information Systems is a functional unity of innovation and research, community service provision and knowledge dissemination in its specific domains. The Center integrates 30 researchers (15 PhD, 10 MSc and 5 Graduates), who are experts in several areas of Business Sciences and Information Systems, namely, Regional and Local Development, Business and Organizational Strategy, Quality Management, New Information Technologies, Industrial Engineering and Information Systems Management.

To promote and develop Research and Innovation for public and private Institutions.
Vision
CIICESI carries out its mission through design and development of R&D and transfer of technology projects, specialized training and postgraduate studies, development of new products and services, and dissemination actions within its areas of practice. CIICESI aims its activities to have a positive impact at national and international level of the scientific community, at public and private Institutions and the organizations and individuals of the surrounding community.
