The Gabinete de Apoio ao Empreendedor (GAE) intends to strengthen the relations between the ESTG and the business fabric, through the auscultation of the needs of the companies, and the presentation of new challenges that result in new partnerships and in the creation of companies by the students. With this connection, it is possible for the ESTG to disseminate and make its work and skills in the different scientific areas, in terms of teaching, research and cooperation, available to the business fabric.
Based on networking, collaboration, communication and sharing of information and knowledge, GAE aims to bring together companies, teachers, researchers and students with an entrepreneurial spirit in activities conducive to the creation of value for the country and, in particular, for the region where the school is inserted.
Internally, this office seeks to foster a more active relationship with students by encouraging them to start their business with ESTG companies, thereby creating the community we call ESTG SPIN-OFF.
At the external level, ESTG is an important player in the economic and social development of the region, through the empowerment and creation of new ideas, innovative businesses and the promotion of business dynamism. GAE emerges as a central element, working to facilitate contacts with relevant stakeholders, help with market research and business plan preparation, financing / investment opportunities, mentoring, partner identification, legal support, and project management.
